March - April 2007
As we work to finish "Torn Asunder," the devil is certainly in the details ... but with great and talented musical friends to help, an exorcist was not required.  Many thanks to the great Brian Simms for coming into the studio and adding needed keyboards to "Bless Me Saint Rita" and "Love Bombing" ... and thanks to the award-winning singer Pam Ward for her duet and adding so much soul to the tune "Soul Sister.

Taking the month off ... hope you had a very Merry Christmas ... and Happy New Year!

October - December 2006

Most of the songs on “Torn Asunder” are 80-90% completed. However, Don is getting back in the studio in DC, together with Michael and members of the band, in order to begin work on two new and added tracks, entitled “Sympathy Hug” and “I'm The Book On Your Shelf.” At the same time, Jeff Morris has taken ownership of the wonderfully expressive “What I Did Tonight,” and will be adding in his own initial production thumbprints and expertise, back his own workshop in Dallas. Making progress.

July - Sptember 2006
The first committed and extended review and critique of the rough tracks that will make up the next record -- “Torn Asunder” – began in earnest this season. Don was able to steal a week in Los Cabos, Mexico for a most secluded and serious listen. Producer and guitarist Michael Sauri has done a magical job with many of the tracks, elevating them from the initial roughness of practice sessions, to place of unique and shiny beauty. We are excited to try to finish them up this Fall.
